Today, 43 Catholic dioceses and institutions filed lawsuits in 12 different federal courts across the country in a historic legal challenge to the constitutionality of the Obama Administration’s “Contraception Mandate.” The Mandate requires religious organizations nationwide to pay for employee health plans that cover contraception, sterilization, and abortion-inducing drugs at no cost to the employee, even when the employer has profound moral objections to such products and services.
