Governor Sam Brownback has signed two important Pro-Life bills into law.
The Pro-Life Protections Act prevents any state funds from being used for abortion, bans abortions that are based solely on the gender of the unborn child, and declares that the life of each human being begins at fertilization.
A second bill bans “wrongful birth” lawsuits claiming damages for a disabled child that “would have been aborted” had a doctor provided the parents with better information.
