The U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, whose jurisdiction includes Kansas, will hear appeals of lower court decisions striking down state constitutional amendments in Utah and Oklahoma that define marriage as between one man and one woman. Kansas has a similar amendment that would fall if the 10th Circuit rules against the Oklahoma and Utah laws.
